In a bowl, mix the flour with the yeast and salt. Add the water and olive oil and knead until the mixture is smooth.
If you use brewer’s yeast, dissolve it first in a little water and then add it to the dough.
Dough rest:
Let the dough rest for about 15-20 minutes, covered with a cloth.
Rolling out:
Divide the dough into balls (about 4-6) and roll them out with a rolling pin until you obtain oval or rectangular shapes, about 5 mm thick.
Cooking in a pan:
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook a pizza tongue for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden and cooked. Cover with a lid to help cook.
Topping:
Once cooked, remove the pizza tongue from the pan and add the tomato sauce, mozzarella and other ingredients to taste. Return the pizza to the pan, cover and cook for another 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
Service:
Repeat the process with the remaining portions of dough. Serve the pizza tongues hot and enjoy!
